Our 175th Anniversary Celebration!

The Ambler Church of the Brethren has planned a number of special events this October in celebration of their 175th Anniversary as a congregation (our Dodransbicentennial!), and we'd like to invite brothers and sisters from around the district to come enjoy these with us!

Sunday Oct. 4th ⚫ Heritage Love Feast at 5:30 PM

We'll kick off three weekends of special events by hosting a Heritage Love Feast. Church of the Brethren Moderator Andy Murray will be our "visiting elder." Plain dress and prayer coverings will be the order of the day, along with a capella singing. Visiting Brethren from other congregations are most welcome! Flyer with more information

Friday Oct. 9th ⚫ Campfire Coffeehouse at 5:50 PM

A Campfire Coffeehouse will feature Jason Haldeman, and skits by A.Mack, John Kline, and Anna Mow! Come at 5:30p to make a foil dinner if you wish. As a family-friendly event, young people and youth are particularly welcome. Flyer with more information

Sunday Oct. 11th ⚫ Meeting House and Cemetery Tour during Sunday School

This Sunday brings a Meetinghouse Site and Cemetery Tour, followed by a Remembrance Service. Flyer with more information

Saturday Oct. 17th ⚫ Interfaith Candlelight Peace Vigil at 7:00 PM

Join us for an interfaith Candlelight Peace Vigil Walk through downtown Ambler. Flyer with more information

Sunday Oct. 18th ⚫ Homecoming Sunday at 10:45 AM

This is our Homecoming Sunday, with Pam Reist preaching. Worship will be followed by a catered luncheon, and special program with recognitions and dedications. We especially invite former participants in the life of the Ambler congregation to attend! Flyer with more information
